If it’s not an easy way to lose weight, we’re always on the lookout for the perfect diet that won’t lead to drastic measures while still showing results at the same time. The 80/20 Diet is quite possibly the most logical and simplest diets out there to venture on, and it’s probably easiest to adapt into your lifestyle.

We’re definitely on board with the 80/20 Diet, and now we’re sharing everything that you need to know about it.

The Diet Rule
The 80/20 Diet is easily to follow because it encourages you to eat healthy 80% of the time, while being able to indulge 20% of the time too. It’s really like a compromise where you’re entitled to enjoy yourself while still being on a diet. Even supermodel, Miranda Kerr’s adopted the 80/20 diet. “80% healthy and organic, 20% indulgent and that works for me and my body personally. I indulge occasionally and avoid counting calories”.

On top of it just being a diet that’s been vouched for by a top model, there are a couple more perks for being on the 80/20 diet.

It Promotes A Healthy Lifestyle
It’s easy to feel deprived and alone in a diet, but the great thing about the 80/20 philosophy is that helps you keep up with your consistency. Consistency in a diet is what gives you results and because it’s easy to adapt to, you’ll be able to continue with this diet for the rest of your life, without even having to think you’re on one.

You Can Still Live to Eat
A lot of people only see food as fuel, but there’s a lot of us who see it as a form of art. So whenever you go out or get invited to dinners, there’s no need to worry if the food’s going to be made with low-fat this and that! And when you’ve got a craving for something sweet, you can still indulge without have to feel too guilty because you know you’ve got all the nutrition you need.

With all these awesome perks about the 80/20 diet, it’s important to remember that you’ll still have to include a decent amount of exercise too. Incorporating a minimum of 20 minutes each day is still better than not doing anything at all. You’ll also only be able to shed the pounds with the help of exercise and good metabolism. Since you can boost your metabolism by working out in the morning, make your lifestyle a better one by waking up bright and early to workout, and you’ve pretty much a healthy lifestyle covered!
