I guess it doesn’t take much to figure out that if you’re a brand ambassador for a certain product, you’re not allowed to use competitors’ products but Paris Hilton couldn’t care less. She was recently sued by Hairtech International, a hair extensions company, for violating the contract by wearing locks of hair from competitors brand in 2008. The company is demanding a payment of almost 10 times more than what Paris Hilton was paid. On top of that, the company is also suing Paris Hilton for missing a launch party in 2007 because she was jailed during that time for driving on a suspended license. The company claims that they lost around USD$6.6 million due to her absence. Lastly, yes, there’s more, the company is also saying that the party princess’ lifestyle contradicts the contract marketing campaign. Alright, I knew they were not allowed to wear competitors’ products but they’re practically selling their soul, what has partying got to do with hair extensions?
