You know how when you watch a movie, there’re always some people who puts their water to boil in a kettle over the stove before falling asleep on the sofa and when the water boils, it gushes out of the opening, killing the fire so the gas will flood the house and explodes when someone rings the doorbell? Well, what they need is an electric kettle that switches off itself when the kettle boils, not this BoilBuoy that whistles when the water is boil, much like those regular old kettle with a flap over the mouth so steam from the water will make it whistle! The only difference is, this device can be used on a pot of water so if you wish to boil some water to make some instant noodle (the only reason I can think of why anyone would boil water in a pot), it will whistle to notify you the water’s boiling and it’s time to put in your noodle. Right, like we’re that lazy to wait for water to boil. You could do what I do and boil the water in an electric kettle before pouring it in a pot. That way you won’t have to wait and you’ll have hot water to make your coffee too.
