A passenger named Steph Strayer was incredibly annoyed by a man who allegedly bragged about cheating on his wife on a train from Philadelphia. Just after realizing she had enough with his nonsense, she took a picture of him and then uploaded the picture on Facebook with the following caption:

“If this is your husband, I have endured a 2 hour train ride from Philadelphia listening to this loser and his friends brag about their multiple affairs and how their wives are too stupid to catch on. Oh please repost…”

The picture was uploaded on Facebook on Thursday (6 June) and it has already been shared over 233,430 times on Facebook.

According to the Dailymail, it is still unknown whether the husband has been identified, but it has opened the room for debate on whether it is right to publicly shame a stranger on social media.

While we somehow have heaps of respect for Steph for putting the word out that a man is cheating on his wife, does this entirely mean we’ve lost our sense of privacy?

Do you think Steph should be penalized for doing what she did? Share your thoughts in our comment section below.

  • Good for her. We live in a world where social media is the dominate way we relate to friends and strangers. There is no privacy. Get used to it. If he didn’t want the public/his wife to know about his personal affairs, he shouldn’t have been bragging about them in public. He’s the stupid one. I feel sorry for his wife.

  • Steph, honey, did someone pay you to perpetrate a publicity stunt? There are rumors flying that your photo is of none other than Joe Giudice of “Real Housewives of New Jersey” fame. I have to agree that it looks kinda like the same guy. There’s nothing like another bit of scandal to boost viewership for an otherwise crummy surreality show. Or maybe it’s to help make it that much more difficult to seat an unbiased jury for his upcoming trial on false identity charges? Participating in a maneuver like that would make you the rat IMHO. Either prospect makes my opinion of you even lower than it was. What did your employer, the Office of Children and Families in the Courts of Pennsylvania, think of this little adventure of yours anyway?
