Say goodbye to Hallmark because from 19 September 2010 onwards, the entertainment channel that is famous to the elder female population is going to get rebranded to an all new entertainment channel, DIVA Universal. Don’t worry though, although Hallmark is going to get rebranded to target the younger viewers, you can still catch the famous and popular shows you’ve always loved and Universal Networks International (UNI) is continuously working on bringing you the latest and greatest movies.
“The launch of DIVA Universal completes the roll out of our newly branded channel portfolio for 2010. This is the beginning of an amazing brand experience for our viewers, platform partners and advertisers. DIVA Universal boasts a fresh prime time schedule that we’re very excited about.” – Mr. Raymund Miranda, Managing Director, Asia Pacific, UNI.
If you’re a guy and you’re worried that your spouse will be spending the rest of her days and night with this channel, fret not because according to Mr. Raymund Miranda, Managing Director, Asia Pacific, UNI, this new channel is not something too girly for you – it’s only roughly about 60% skewed towards the female audience so yes, you can still enjoy the shows.
