I don’t know if it’s just me or something’s wrong with the economy, but it seems like lately, there are quite a number of auctions on things that used to belong to dead famous celebrities. This time round, the beloved White Knabe Grand Piano that once belonged to Elvis Presley is out for auction and is expected to sell more than USD$1,000,000!
In fact, the piano will be auctioned at the Elvis Memorabilia Auction which will be featuring more of his personal belongings. The auction, which will be held on 14 August 2010 in Memphis, Tennesse, will also be selling the King of Rock ‘n’ Roll’s 1976 Triumph TR-6 Convertible ($70,000), custom gold-framed sunglasses ($20,000), a .22 Harrington & Richardson Revolver ($8,000), the Elvis Presley and parents signed Graceland sales contract ($35,000), a hand written and signed letter that was written to his girlfriend then ($75,000), his stunning opal ring ($50,000) and even his personal address book ($3,500). Wow, even dead, he still don’t get to have any privacy, I wonder what’s written on his 4-page love letter.
