If you love your BlackBerry Smartphone, then you’re in for a very good piece of news, RIM is planning to introduce a tablet device this November to compete with the iPad. According to a source that’s familiar with the company’s plan, the device will most likely be named the Blackpad and will feature similar specs as the iPad such as a 9.7” screen, WiFi and Bluetooth connectivity, and close integration with their in-house app store (the BlackBerry App World). On top of that, the Blackpad will also come with a front and back camera for video conferencing. I sure hope there’s 3G connectivity, relying on WiFi is not fun at all. It’s also rumored to have a competitive price starting from USD$499.
