I swear to god, even though now it seems as though it’s as bizarre as a dream, I’ve eaten fried ice cream before – twice, once in Australia and once in our local night market – but every time I tell that to someone, they won’t believe me. Scalding hot on the outside and freezing cold on the inside, the ice cream will still be in perfect form and will only start melting after a while because I took so long to finish it, so this fried beer doesn’t seem as amazing as it should be to me. You’ve seen chocolates filled with liquor and now, they’ve discovered that you can fry liquid and although no information was further revealed, it looks like they just filled some beer into some pastry-looking thing before frying it in n375-degree oil for only 20 seconds. I guess it should be made the same way as fried ice cream to maintain the cool temperature of the alcohol before it gets overheated and evaporated.
This little piece of heaven will be shown off at a fried food competition later this month in the States. The inventor will be selling 5 pieces for USD$5 each and yes, you must be over 21years old to get it. It’s going to get patented so if you think you can duplicate the fried beer, you’re a tad too late. Fried whisky perhaps?
