Whether it’s a splash of colour or top to toe fanfare, neon colors do not scream subtle and neither do they shy away from attention. We’re talking about neons, a shade which used to be the bane of fashion designers are now making waves in the fashion industry
From the sombre shades of winter, fashion has undergone a 360 this spring and everywhere we go, we’re seeing shoes and tops in shades of bright pink, yellow and green! While we dig colorblocking, we highly recommend sticking to just one neon piece for your look or else you risk stopping traffic.
If you’d like to incorporate some neon into your wardrobe, check out how you can inject this loud shade into your wardrobe with these easy to match staples:
Jendela KL’s V Neck Loose Dress, RM320 from Zalora
Seven Second’s Lace Up Ankle Boots, RM128.95 from Zalora
Sheer Chiffon Sleeveless Flare Top, RM49 from Mango + Orangie
Zara Inspired Boyfriend Jeans, RM69 from The Garden of Fash
Yellow Bag RM128 and Yellow Pants for him RM139 from Padini
Chunky Heeled Blue & Yellow Heels, RM54 from Agape Boutique
M Shape Color Block Sleeveless Crop Top, RM49 from Mango + Orangiee
Maxi dresses, RM69-RM89 from ThePopLook.com
Clutch bag from Mango, price unknown
Our favourite go-to neon colors are orange neon light, pink, green and electric blue. Yellow seems to be pretty popular as well but it’s not a color which everyone can pull off especially since it doesn’t quite match our Asian skin tones.
