Liberate the artist within you at the coming Karnival Seni Kreatif Kita. Organized to unlock your imagination and ignite your artistic soul, this super chill-out under the sun arts and culture carnival is taking place at Bukit Layang-Layang, Pasir Gudang, Johor from the 11th to 12th May at 10am to 7pm.

Karnival Seni Kreatif Kita, under the patronage of D.Y.M.M. Raja Zarith Sofiah binti Almarhum Sultan Idris Shah, is a passionate project brought to you by the My Performing Arts Agency (MYPAA) in collaboration with the National Department for Culture and Arts (JKKN). Also identified as an Entry Point Project (EPP) under the Economic Transformation Programme (ETP) NKEA Communications Content & Infrastructure (CCI), Karnival Seni Kreatif Kita is supported by the Ministry of Information Communication & Culture, Performance Management Delivery Unit (PEMANDU) and the Iskandar Region Development Authority (IRDA).

The list of headliners includes Malaysia’s funniest stand-up comedians from Lawak ke Der, Malaysian YouTube sensation Najwa Latif, local indie band Couple, English-Malay singer-songwriter Azmyl Yunor and the Siggarettes, Primitive Leap and Medinee.

Other actives include family-friendly theatre shows, playwriting workshops, ukulele, Capoeira, Johor traditional performances, games and many other fun activities. With over 300 performers and 30 musicians in one venue, the Karnival Seni Kreatif Kita will bring greater awareness on arts and culture among the public while making it more accessible to everyone.
