Fashion designer Roberto Cavalli, is under fire for releasing a press release that featured an unrealistic (and almost anorexic) sketch of Beyonce!

Beyonce’s signature curves and bootylicious body looks like it has been edited and altered to a ridiculously unrealistic size! As you can see, her body looks nothing like her signature “bootylicious” curves. The press release also included actual photos of the star wearing the dress and there is hardly any comparison between the two.

Unsurprisingly, the digitally altered photo triggered a lot of negative feedback from fans on the Roberto Cavalli Facebook page. Some of the comments include ‘Why would you do such a sketch that clearly doesn’t reflect her shape?!’ and ‘She is absolutely gorgeous just the way she is, no as she’s represented in that sketch.’

While we are in agreement with the comments, it is more than certain the star will be too. It was only last week that the star was involved in controversy with H&M for being airbrushed and reshaped too much to her liking.

On his Facebook page, Cavalli clarified the issue:

“Dear Fans,
We would like to clarify that the image of the gown created by Roberto Cavalli for Beyoncé is a sketch and not a photo, and therefore it is only meant to be a stylized and artistic vision.
Roberto Cavalli loves women and more than anyone else has always exalted and highlighted the female shape with his creations, building his signature style on the glorification of sensuality and femininity.”

Beyonce has not made any comments about the sketch.
