If not comatose in bed watching Netflix, Genevieve (or Evie) is dressed to the nines sipping Gin-Tonics and devouring soup dumplings in a dodgy Chinese restaurant.
  • Thanks for the info there. I’ve personally been to Marini on 57 and its a great place to hang with your buddies for some chit-chat. Their happy hour is from 5-9pm and do call for booking before you go to get yourself a window side spot.

Marinis on 57 is by far the most overrated restaurant in the whole of Asia!!! You would be surprised to know how many illegal workers are stucked is Mr. Modesto’s net. You would be surprised to know how many bottles are refilled, how many people is paid to be there (cute girls), how many Datos, Tan Sris, etc… are being paid under the table in exchange for corporate favors, how many people is denied entrance for not looking good, how many VIP’s are given a private space to bring mistresses (on weekdays, as they actually bring the wife and the family on Sundays) and ask the staff to turn of the CCTV’s…

People, don’t be fooled by the cover, Marinis is a business based on favors, under the table money and prostitutes. Do you really think that its a coincidence the amount of hookers standing by the Bar? Wake up! Seriously go spend your money somewhere else, if you don’t you are actually helping them to continue the atrocities.
