Name: Adrienne Yap

Occupation: Student

Describe your personal style: There is no box I can categorise my personal style in. It ranges from boyish grunge to over the top girly or sometimes, a mixture of both. I’m constantly experimenting with my outfits to see what I truly like or dislike. My personal style is still a work in progress.

What do you think about the fashion scene in KL:  The fashion scene here is progressing really well. You can spot the fashionistas a mile away as they really stand out from the crowd. What with all the international fashion giant houses popping up on our shores, affordable trendy pieces are easier to gain. Sooner or later, Malaysia will catch up with the likes of Korea and Japan.

Your favourite place to shop: Thrift stores are my absolute favourite places to shop. You never know what you might come across amongst the pile of sub par clothing. Thrifting is pretty much similar to treasure hunting. Besides thrift stores, I frequent H&M, Cotton On and Forever 21.
