In an exclusive preview from the conclusion of Lindsay, OWN’s eight-part documentary series, Lindsay Lohan opens up about her fight to remain sober after leaving rehab for the sixth time.
“It’s a really f–ked up disease and it’s really scary,” the 27-year-old 2 Broke Girls guest star says about her alcoholism.
The actress’s pals don’t seem to be making it any easier. In one scene, her friends sip champagne in Lindsay’s presence.
“She’s such a brilliant girl and she’s such a smart girl. She knows that if she’s thinking clearly and she’s focused that there’s nothing that can stop her,” her younger brother, Michael Lohan Jr., says. “But even if there is a relapse, it’s not the end of the world.”
Lindsay, surprisingly, also realizes how much her career has suffered because of her personal issues, “I’ve seen all of these other actresses do all these other things and then just realizing, ‘Oh s–t, I don’t have that anymore.”
As if that isn’t bad enough, Lindsay is broken after In Touch magazine printed a sex list naming her alleged conquests. “The story’s on Page Six right now,” she says, referring to the New York Post gossip column. “That actually really is annoying right now. It’s f–ked up. And I don’t want a part in it.”
Crying, she says, “The fact that that happened was not only humiliating, but just mean.” The preview is open-ended, with Lindsay saying, “For those two weeks that I took off, no one knows this…”
