Gandhi once said, “The greatness of a nation can be judged by the way its animals are treated.” And here at Lipstiq.com, we believe that all animals should be treated better than how they are currently being treated in this country.

Furry Friends Farm, a 2-acre sanctuary for cats, dogs and a goat started in 2006 and they’re currently under threat. This place where 500 animals call their home are all at risk of being evicted and they need our help. This haven is where many rejected animals who have been rescued come to live peacefully with one another. Each furkid (all with a name of their own) is well taken care of and loved immensely.

They are all looked after by FFF Sanctuary Manager, Georgie Gisborne who makes sure that all her furkids receives the care and love that they need. FFF has their own paid workers at the farm who makes sure everything is done but they also get quite a few contributors that comes over and helps out. Unlike a lot of animal shelters, FFF practices a method where all animals are allowed to roam free and socialise instead of being locked up in cages.

But of course, running an animal shelter is no small bill as the non-profit, non-governmental Furry Friends Farm monthly cost can add up to a whopping RM 40,000 per month, which includes staff wages, food and other expenditures. If that’s not a difficult enough thing to deal with, due to an unfortunate circumstance, they are now being forced to leave the place that they all call home unless they can come up with RM 2.7 million. Even relocating would mean a very, very expensive option.

Right now, they’re hoping that a miracle will grace them in the form of a kind soul that will buy the land and rent it to FFF long-term or raise the RM 2.7 million themselves.

Here’s where we can help as every little bit counts in situations like this one. Time is running out and FFF only has about 2 more months before the owner of the land sells it off, so please, help in any way you can:
