In line with the brand’s ethos of exploring creative processes for Spring/Summer 2017, Charles & Keith launches #CHARLESKEITHCURATES, a digital campaign that seeks to document fashion through creativity.
The campaign highlights the works of different individuals from all walks of life who inspire us with their artistry and techniques. The collaboration was first debuted with the unique interpretations from artists – Grace Ciao, Charly Rodrigues, Krizia Chan and Sun Lee. Access here to view their amazing artworks.
The campaign also seeks to unearth the creativity that is inherent in everyone by encouraging the public to showcase their creativity through Instagram with the hashtag #CHARLESKEITHCURATES. A creative cut-out is tipped in the Spring/Summer magazine, should anyone want to use them against the backdrop of their choices to create their own piece of fashion art. Submissions will be curated and featured on the microsite.
As part of the campaign, Charles & Keith collaborates with Limzy Lim, better known as @lovelimzy for a unique creative view of the brand in Malaysia. Popular for her take on incorporating flowers into her art pieces, Limzy’s creative use of the materials to add an additional dimension to each art piece she created made her a darling in the commercial arts scene.

Sharing my latest works for @charleskeithofficial, as I unite with other artists across Asia for the #CharlesKeithCurates campaign. This piece is inspired by fashion artist maestro René Gruau, and getting back to the roots of where I started: flowers and figurative with a pinch of classic.

To Limzy, fashion and art works together in a harmoniously fun and energetic vibe; “I think it’s absolutely great that many brands see the potential of individual artists and designers. It’s such an experimental and fun era that embraces creativity and speech freedom; you can basically create or do anything. There are too many underrated talents around and I am glad there are more open doors for all.”
With that in mind, Limzy created two exclusive artworks for Charles & Keith Malaysia for a limited edition canvas tote bag as a gift with purchase, available in-stores from 20 May 2017 till 18th June 2017, across Malaysia with any purchase of RM380.
