The Valentine’s Day Omakase, which runs from February 9th to 14th, showcases gastronomic delights including the chawan mushi cappuccino, juicy tenderloin with foie gras, and the Nobu style sushi cup. Make this Valentine’s Day a bella notte to remember while you indulge in fine Italian cuisine at Marini’s on 57 where the Kuala Lumpur skyline will serve as a backdrop for your romantic evening, priced at RM1,599++ per couple for a normal table and RM1,999++ per couple for a window table with a view.

For a true Parisian take on romance, dine with an exquisite 5-course menu for RM788 nett per couple at The Brasserie, in which will be transformed into the artistic district of Montmarte. Amongst the highlights include the Brittany lobster ceviche, and the duo of beef, gnocchi “a la Parisienne”, hibiscus beef jus.
Alternatively from February 13th to 15th between 2pm and 6pm, guests can also delight in romantic creations brought to you by St. Regis Kuala Lumpur’s Executive Pastry Chef during the Valentine’s Day Afternoon Tea at The Drawing Room for RM288 nett per couple, or RM428 nett per couple with a glass of Veuve Clicquot champagne.
4. Lafite, Shangri-La Hotel Kuala Lumpur
For the special occasion, Shangri-La Hotel Kuala Lumpur’s Executive Chef Olivier Pistre presents lovebirds with a special French fine dining 6-course menu, priced at RM599 nett per person, presenting some of his signature flavours fused with a little Asian accents.
There are two choices for the main course: Wild caught French sea bass with kohlrabi puree, juniper crumble, Malaysian kumquat gel and armoricaine jus; or wood-grilled Cohiba-smoked Australian beef tenderloin with celeriac puree and remoulade, blackberry gel, pickles, young beetroot and Sarawak pepper poivrade sauce.

Nothing shouts love like an opulent high tea experience, and luckily, TWG Tea’s Grand High Tea Set, priced at RM118++ for two, is perfect for the romantic affair. Relish in savouries such as the almond crusted tiger prawn, saffron chicken and salmon timbale, amongst others.
