Yeahhhhh, freckles aren’t revolutionary. Many people develop them naturally due to sun exposure, except for the longest time freckles weren’t so coveted.. until recent years.

These little sprinklings of melanin made an even bigger statement when the Duchess of Sussex Meghan Markle walked down the isle proudly with hers on full display, inspiring many others to flaunt their own, so much so that those who didn’t have them resorted to either drawing in faux freckles and even getting them tattooed on their faces.

In ode to embracing freckles, here are 20 photos of stunning women wearing theirs and rocking them with pride!

✨ simple beauty ✨ Sometimes it's not about a ton of makeup. Sometimes it's about showing natural beauty. I am a sucker for full face freckles, probably because my sister has a full face and I think she's probably the most beautiful person in this entire universe. So when I saw @lxlthrr and this face of hers…I swooned immediately. I decided to showcase these freckles with sparkles and added tiny tiny rhinestones…it was so stunning in person that I couldn't believe on a whim my gut told me to pack these tiny gems that day. I had no idea why. But it all made sense in the end. I can't ever thank hairstylist/colourist @nikki_inreallife for trusting my instinct, as we had a completely different concept originally. Her talent in unmatched, as well as her heart. And photographer/friend @jordanschiappa captured it perfectly…of course 💜 Thank you ladies 💞 #makeuplook #makeupartist #makeupartistry #austinmakeupartist #atxmua #austincreatives #benjaminbeausalon #simplebeauty #naturalbeauty #rhinestones #freckles #freckledbeauty #hairstylist #haircolor #paulmitchell #neverstopcreating
